This is an 18 x 24 original oil painting of a precious child named Will with his dog, Shelby. Unfortunately, this sweet child lost his fight with childhood cancer. Nobody should have to face Cancer...least of all a child. Sadly my grandchild was diagnosed last January with Cancer as well. He is fighting like a warrior. With the support of family and community and awesome organizations like Will's Wags (founded by this child's mother) we are hopeful we will win our fight. Will's Wags gifts children with cancer their choice of any breed puppy they choose. They give them a companion to help take them through this journey of chemo and treatment that should not be a part of childhood. This painting was given to his mother by my daughter and me in appreciation for our Grandson's puppy "Buddy". Buddy is a wonderful playmate...gentle and loving. I share this painting with you in hopes you will give to Kid's Cancer, Cure, Scottish Rite, St. Jude's or any other Cancer Research Organization that helps these children and their families cope. Profits for the Artist (myself) from purchases of prints or items from this image will be given to Will's Wags. Thank you
