Description
I decided to repaint this artwork, changing the spillover to a fishing boat. This is the only original for sale now, now only prints of the other image of Goldenrods on lake Davenport can be purchased. Featured in FAA Group "The Road to Self Promotion" This Large 48 x 36 Oil Painting of Davenport Lake on a Gallery Wrapped canvas. The lake is located in Ellijay GA. The sunset highlighted the goldenrods growing on the earthen dam. This is an old favorite fishing hole of residents in the Mountaintown and Harper Creek Valley. Davenport Lake is a reservoir located just 7 miles from Downtown Ellijay, in Gilmer County The Goldenrod or Solidago, is a genus of about 100 to 120 species of flowering plants in the aster family, Asteraceae that are found in open areas such as meadows, prairies and savannas.
