This is a sketch of my beautiful mother. I have never been able to create the inner and outer beauty of this woman. She is remarkable in every way. Losing her own mother at the age of two, she was shipped around from her daddy, step mothers, grandmothers and an orphanage until she decided to take the world by its tail all alone and moved into a room where she supported herself through high school. She is an amazing mother... she taught me all I know about love, forgiveness, raising children, being a friend, adapting to your surroundings and making things work, no matter what the situation. My mother has always been my biggest fan, the one who supports my art and encourages me to forge ahead. If only we listen to our Mothers from the beginning, what great things we would accomplish!
