Description
This is an image of my original oil painting on 20 x 16 canvas of the Cartecay Vineyard Tasting Barn in Ellijay, GA. Wine Tasting is a favorite past time of many, especially on a summer or Autumn afternoon, rain or shine. This is a small family owned vineyard that was the first in this area. It has a Great Tasting Barn and the Chimney guards the outside seating area. The Chimney was part of the old Farmhouse before the Vineyard. Taste a little wine, enjoy the North Georgia Mountains and you may even here a little live music. A Vineyard is a plantation of grape-bearing vines, grown mainly for wine making, but also raisins, table grapes and non-alcoholic grape juice. The science, practice and study of vineyard production is known as viticulture.
